The University at Buffalo Cancer Research Consortium is a collaborative effort that recognizes the critical value of multi-disciplinary collaborative science and diversity towards the goal of facilitating opportunities for grants for basic and clinical translation science.
Dr. David Takeda is a Lasker Clinical Research Scholar and Head, Functional Genomics Section, Genitourinary Malignancies Branch in the Center for Cancer Research at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Harvard Medical School and completed residency training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a hematology/oncology fellowship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, where he conducted post-doctoral work with William Hahn at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA. His research focuses on treatment-resistant prostate cancers.
