We will recognize your accomplishments and support your research.

You will have the opportunity to present a quality improvement project at the school’s Celebration of Scholarship day; this makes you eligible for an award in the quality improvement research category.

Further, as a preventive medicine resident, you will be eligible for a number of other awards:

  • Eugene R. Mindell, MD, and Harold Brody, MD ’61, PhD, Clinical Translational Research Award

    This award recognizes a junior research scientist for the best basic science research that seeks to solve a clinical problem.
  • Evan Calkins, MD, Community Based Research Fellowship

    Provides funding to residents and junior faculty who conduct community-based research or quality improvement projects.
  • Louis A. and Ruth Siegel Awards for Excellence in Teaching

    The Siegel Awards are the foremost means for recognizing extraordinary teachers in our school. Considerations for the Siegel Awards include: instructional skill, ability to stimulate thinking and develop understanding, demonstration of sensitivity toward the human condition and serving as a role model for students.
