Medical Student Education

Enhance and expand your medical training with coursework that develops your knowledge of disease-causing microbes. Explore bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites — and immune system responses to infection.

Our electives engage you in basic science that seeks to unlock clues to disease mechanisms and organisms. We give you an insider’s perspective on research that could lead to future vaccines and anti-microbial therapies.
