Visiting Elective for Students Underrepresented in Medicine

We are dedicated to training a diverse group of orthopaedic surgeons and committed to helping orthopaedics move from one of the least diversified specialties to an inclusive field representing all peoples and communities.

Overview

The financial burden associated with multiple away rotations can be a barrier to a fully representative applicant pool. We aim to narrow that gap by providing a stipend to help cover these expenses. We are happy to support a visiting elective for existing allopathic or osteopathic underrepresented students from other university programs within the United States in orthopaedic surgery.
