The Department of Surgery would like to recognize and thank Jo Buyske, MD, for her presentation, Surgical Education in Evolution: Where We Have Been and Where We Are Going, at grand rounds. 

Dr. Nathaniel Soper is a Professor of Surgery at Loyola and Edith Davis in Chicago, Illinois. Many thanks go out to Dr. Soper for his presentation, Engendering Operative Autonomy in Surgical Trainees, at grand rounds on 11/7/19.

The abstract, "Association of Same Day Discharge with Hospital Readmission After Pediatric Thyroidectomy", has been accepted for QuickShot Presentation at the 15th Annual Academic Surgical Congress, to be held February 4-6, 2020 in Orlando, Florida.

The Department of Pediatric Surgery, directed by David Rothstein, MD, MS, at the recently-opened John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, a Kaleida Health facility, is seeking individuals who are looking for a dedicated research experience in areas of Pediatric Surgery.
