Anticipated 12/2020 CTSI Translational Pilot Studies Fall Cycle Projects that: 1) allow clinical-translational researchers to generate preliminary data to support the submission of federal and/or private research grant applications; 2) seek to improve clinical research design, biostatistics, clinical research ethics, informatics, or regulatory pathways, and/or; 3) support the design, development and/or validation of novel, clinically applicable devices, biomarkers, or analytical methods, or other avenues (defined by the applicant) that will substantially advance clinical and translational research. $50,000 max, one year
Rolling Applications OVPRED Grant Re-submission Award Pilot project offering support to faculty for improving on already highly-rated proposals for resubmission. For activities that could make a difference in the competitiveness of the re-submitted proposal. None Specified UB Small Business Innovation Award Supports small business technological innovations that will benefit the public good and provides experiential learning opportunities for faculty, staff and students solving real world problems. Qualifying companies awarded an SBIR or STTR Phase I award that subcontract at least 30% of the award to UB may receive up to a 20% match for internal direct costs expenditures.
