To develop early career physician leaders who are respected team members and positive role models for servant leadership in their chosen medical specialties.
This program provides medical students with the opportunity to develop self-awareness and cultivate fundamental leadership skills through supplemental lecture, workshop, mentorship and project-based experiences. The program is open to second-, third- and fourth-year medical students at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Upon completion, graduates will possess the leadership skills necessary to excel in the medical specialty of his or her choosing.
The leadership track is open to all second year medical students who wish to apply.
Eight students will be selected each year.
