7th Annual Thank A Resident/Fellow Week
The Richard T. Sarkin Emeritus Faculty Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society will sponsor its 7th Annual Thank A Resident/Fellow Week at the University at Buffalo and UB-affiliated hospitals from Monday, February 19, 2024, through Friday, February 23, 2024. The National GHHS celebration will take place on Friday.

The GME office would like to say THANK YOU each year to those who take a moment to consider and honor their peers with whom they work with. It is extremely important that our colleagues know they are appreciated for their continued hard work and dedication to the health care system. Call for Gold Humanism Honor Society Nominations!
The Gold Humanism Honor Society honors students and physicians for their commitment to providing excellent, compassionate care, as well as for their dedication to patients and families.
Each year, the University at Buffalo welcomes new members into its Richard T. Sarkin /Emeritus Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) and has one of only 13 GHHS Resident Chapters in the whole country!
Please take a moment to nominate peers who have demonstrated humanistic patient care for an opportunity to be selected and honored at the annual GHHS Induction Ceremony. The selection process begins with peer nominations and ends with the induction of 15-20 residents/fellows in the spring of 2024.
The peer nomination form is now active, and invites you to share stories of resident humanism in less than 350 words. Thank you for participating!
