Community Day
Date: July 28, 2024
Location: 1184 Genesee St., Buffalo NY 14211 (front of MLK Park)
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Description: Organized by Calvary Baptist Church. Food, entertainment for kids, music, vendors, social services, health screenings, etc. Opportunity to table with an activity or program info. Several social service agencies will be onsite to meet the needs of our community members.
Puerto Rican and Hispanic Parade and Festival
Date: August 17 and August 18
Location: Niagara Square
Time: 10.30 a.m. (Parade line up) and 12.00 p.m. (Tabling) to 6 p.m.
Description: Opportunity to walk the parade and/or tabling with an activity or program info, by promoting civic pride, celebrating the history of Puerto Rico and Hispanics, and increasing awareness of Latin America's diverse cultural heritage. The festival will have a variety of social and service-oriented agencies to build a stronger WNY community on a foundation of pride, knowledge, and empowerment.
BNMC Block Party
Date: August 22, 2024
Location: Kaminsky Park (Elm and & Carlton St.)
Time: 4 - 7 p.m.
Description: Summer evening of food, live music, health, wellness and fun with neighbors, friends and colleagues.

Location: Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences - 955 Main St.
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Description: 7th-12th graders touring the BNMC campus. Join us for a student open house with your activities, programming and volunteer aid to guide the students around downtown campus.

Tuscarora Health Fair

Location: Tuscarora Nation Health Center - 5226 Walmore Rd., Lewiston, NY 14092
Time: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Description: Tuscarora Nation Community will visit to learn about health and resources. The health fair is a chance for the people of the Tuscarora Nation community to see what is available for their healthcare needs.
