Faculty Recruiting

Dr. Martinez and colleague.

Education, Lectures, and Faculty Recruitment is our top priority

Our office supports the school’s commitment to attract, hire and develop faculty to increase excellence in academic and clinical medicine through diversity and inclusion; to increase health and wellness across the life span; and to educate tomorrow’s leaders in healthcare and biomedical sciences, innovative research and outstanding clinical care.

We provide consultation, advice and support to departments to enrich the pool of faculty candidates through dialogues with search committees, implementation of best practices, access to training and resources, and expanded outreach.

Our services include:

  • 9/13/21
Here we present a wide array of information and training materials shared by universities and professional societies to support best practices in faculty and staff recruitment and professional development for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
  • 4/26/17
We’re available to meet with department chairs and search committees to discuss recruitment strategies, objectives, challenges or opportunities specific to the department and discipline.
  • 4/28/21
Through this program, faculty members serve as champions for diversity and inclusion within their respective departments, and as their department liaison to the Office of Inclusion and Cultural Enhancement.
  • 2/23/21
