Throughout your three-year residency, you will manage your own panel of patients at your assigned general child neurology clinic, either at the nationally recognized Oishei Children’s Hospital or our suburban satellite office.
You will have opportunities to work long-term with diverse patients and a varied mix of cases in a supportive, personalized training environment.
This experience helps you understand disease progression and treatment strategies. It also allows you to develop influential relationships with your patients as well as with our expert faculty neurologists.
At each site, you will be involved in evaluating and treating numerous common neurological conditions on an outpatient basis. These include headache, seizures, autism, developmental delay and neurofibromatosis.
You will see male and female patients, all under 18.
You will see mainly urban and rural outpatients in a child neurology clinic at this comprehensive children's hospital.
At this suburban office, you will see more upper- and middle-class patients.
