4 New Faculty Members Join 3 Medical School Departments

Four faculty members with a variety of clinical and research experience — representing three medical school departments — have joined the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences over the past several months.

3 Different Departments Represented

Sandip Saha, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

He completed a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at Yale University and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Michigan State University.

He completed a residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University.

He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree from York University in Toronto.

Leonid Cherkassky, MD, is a clinical assistant professor of surgery.

Aravindan V. Jeyarajasingam, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine in the Divsion of Nephrology.

Scott R. Nodzo, MD, is a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedics.
