UB Homework Helpers is an organization at UB which provides free virtual tutoring to local K-12 students in need.

Together with partners, the Network has built a collaborative infrastructure across the state for EH education, screening, consultation, and referrals to needed interventions.

 GLYS WNY builds affirming cultures and supportive communities for youth of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. 

 Dedicated to preserving the history of Hispanics in Western New York for future generations. 

 As an advocate for the community, the Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor Commission endeavors to integrate the African American cultural significance and impact on Buffalo’s history through public engagement, community education that will invigorate, inspire and enliven cultural appreciation, preservation and community development. 

The Salvation Army of Buffalo exists to offer hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs without regard to age, religion, ethnicity, or educational level. Its mission is to help others through more than a dozen programs, including Emergency Family Assistance, Supervised Visitation, Emergency Shelter, Employment Services, Conflict Resolution/Anger Management, Corps Community Centers, Emergency Disaster and Canteen Services.

With a focus on racially and culturally affirming practices, Buffalo Prep advocates for educational access and equity and provides programming to academically ambitious scholars of color. We strive to nurture our scholars’ brilliance while empowering them to engage civically as their authentic selves.

 We are a transdisciplinary group focused on promoting genome and microbiome literacy in K-12 schools and adult populations. 

 The mission of the Say Yes Buffalo partnership is to remove barriers to educational attainment, workforce participation and economic mobility for students in public and charter schools in Buffalo, NY. 

The Buffalo City Mission exists to restore hope and dignity to the hurting and homeless through the transforming grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.

UB HEALS (Homeless health, Education, Awareness, and Leadership in Street medicine) is a Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS) Street Medicine outreach initiative with the mission to increase access to health care among the homeless population of Buffalo, NY by directly improving their overall health and influencing medical education.

 Aspire of WNY works with children and adults with developmental disabilities to help them realize their full potential and live as independently as possible. 

 We are a nonprofit organization that offers free healthcare and dental care to working poor, uninsured and underserved. 

We provide healthcare and community programs to marginalized and underserved individuals through five medical clinics in Buffalo, five globally and six community programs.

The Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic provides free medical care, gynecologic and dermatologic services, and social services to the Buffalo Community thanks to an interprofessional team of UB health professionals and students.

 BestSelf Behavioral Health provides mental health and/or substance use disorder services to individuals of all ages in WNY. 

Crisis Services is a 24-hour comprehensive crisis center and community resource whose first responders provide support to anyone in need. We save lives by restoring safety, promoting emotional strength, and reducing the impact of trauma through intervention, education, prevention and community collaboration..

Mental Health Advocates, through awareness, education, prevention, early intervention programs and supportive services, we advocate for and actively promote mental health and wellness for adults, families and children in homes, schools and workplaces across Western New York. 

The Confident Girl Mentoring Program provide social-emotional mentoring services that promote health equity and improve the self-efficacy and confidence of our most vulnerable youth under the age of 30.

 The Human Rights Initiative at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (formerly the WNY Human Rights Clinic) was founded in 2014 to serve the need for medical and psychiatric forensic evaluations of survivors of torture or persecution seeking asylum status in the Buffalo area. 

The International Institute of Buffalo makes Western New York a better place for, and because of, immigrants and refugees, through its multifaceted, social service programs. 

Journey’s End Refugee Services, Inc. is a community-based organization with the mission of welcoming refugees without regard to ethnic origin or creed and to assist them to become healthy, independent, contributing members of the community.

Open Buffalo’s mission is to advance racial, economic and ecological justice. We do so through skill building, network connecting and activating leadership opportunities. Our goal is for all communities in Western New York to thrive free from discrimination and poverty.

FeedMore WNY is the primary hunger-relief organization for WNY, serving community members of all ages throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties. 

Grassroots Gardens of WNY is a small non-profit that focuses on helping communities start and maintain community gardens and school gardens.
