    Your first year of residency focuses largely on hospital-based clinical skills and lays the foundation for your practice of family medicine.
  • PGY-2
    7/31/20
    During this year, you’ll build upon on skills developed during the PGY-1 year, establishing your practice of family medicine in an unopposed training environment and a medically underserved rural region.
  • PGY-3
    7/21/21
    During your last year of residency, you’ll refine your ambulatory care skills and become fully prepared for autonomous practice.
  • Rotations
    11/23/15
    You’ll work with expert physicians in urban and rural environments, acquiring the skills you need to confidently practice family medicine in any setting.
  • Conferences and Seminars
    8/4/20
    Our conferences and seminars encompass the full spectrum of family medicine topics, so you can advance your skills, build a foundation for your practice and stay current on important trends.
  • Integrative Medicine
    4/27/22
    Recognizing the importance of integrative medicine, our rural residents are enrolled in the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine for a 200-hour course of study over the three years of residency.
