Conferences and Seminars

Philip Fourie, MD, PGY2; Robert Haas, MD.

Our residents benefit from university didactics in two distinct settings: rural Olean and urban Buffalo. Rural resident Philip Fourie, MD (left), with rural faculty Robert Haas, MD.

You’ll attend university conferences and seminars in Olean and Buffalo, advancing your knowledge about practices relevant to rural and urban environments as you build a foundation for your practice and stay current on trends in our field.

In addition to attending the urban residency’s conferences in person, our residents have the flexibility to participate from Olean. Our department uses the latest streaming technology so you can easily access university-level didactics remotely.

You’ll watch presentations from Buffalo on a large-screen TV, in real time. Lecturers stream all of their material, so you benefit from every aspect of the discussion, including the opportunity to ask questions.
