You’ll review charts, discuss interesting cases and collaborate on small-group projects during this bimonthly series.
Under the guidance of the chief resident and associate program director, you’ll work on several projects, including those that focus on quality improvement and the patient-centered medical home.
You’ll learn how to evaluate health disparities in the community and your practice. You’ll evaluate the quality of care you provide your own panel of patients and apply practice enhancements to your care. You’ll then reevaluate your patients to objectively define the extent of your enhancements — a vital skill for primary care practitioners.
These conferences also cover morbidity and mortality reports, senior lectures and practice management topics. They alternate weeks with grand rounds.
