Imaging Conference

These fellow-led discussions focus on echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, cardiac CTA and cardiac MRI images.

Our program director will assign you a topic, such as mitral regurgitation or aortic stenosis. You’ll gather relevant images from patients you’ve encountered and studies on the condition. You’ll discuss the circumstances under which you’d order imaging for the diagnosis in question and how to assess it on an imaging test.

Our faculty participate in these discussions, commenting on findings in the images and the criteria necessary to assess the condition.

We include sessions involving imaging structural heart interventions, in particular MitraClip and the Watchman device.

Some of the sessions include either a hospitalwide echocardiography or nuclear cardiology conference.
