Case 1

13 yo male with several months of right shin pain. No history of trauma. He describes the pain as sharp and stabbing and is now secondarily unable to bear weight. He complains of decreased appetite and pain at night. 

PE: RLE: Palpable, tender mass with associated erythema and edema at proximal, medial calf. Pain with flexion greater than 90 degrees at the knee. Achieves full extension. NVI w/o LAN

WBC11.3, sed rate of 26, and CRP of 10.4
