Applications for the SUNY Research Leadership Academy for mid- and senior-level STEMM faculty are due Aug. 15, 2025.

UB

HR provides virtual workshops and programs on a variety of topics, including support for supervisors.

CATT works with faculty to promote student excellence and success.

Information about UB's Office of Faculty Affairs events such as New Faculty Orientation, New Faculty Academy, Faculty Mentoring and the New Faculty Brown Bag Series. 

Training resources that aid in building capacity in individuals and teams, including information about team building, preparing search committees and career coaching.

SUNY

SUNY CPD supports a wide range of academic, technical, and leadership professional development opportunities, including conferences, workshops and certificate programs.

A fellowship program providing support for civic education, civil discourse and civic awareness.

A diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice fellowship program providing targeted support for DEISJ curricular matters.

A year-long program that develops leadership and communication skills among mid- and senior-level STEMM faculty. 

Institutional Memberships

The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is an institutional member, so faculty can register for a free account to join virtual communities, explore networking opportunities, and learn more about AAMC conferences and leadership development programs.

UB is an institutional member of NCFDD, which offers professional development, training, and mentoring for faculty members, postdocs and graduate students.
