As part of our charge to support faculty recruitment and enrich candidate pools, the initiatives described below supplement and expand upon advertising and outreach conducted by individual search committees.

A standard template for position posting/advertising has been designed and is available for download by departments. The template creates a consistent “look” for SMBS faculty advertisements, highlighting the school, the university, and the Buffalo-WNY region.

Departments may use the template in two ways:

1. To describe position vacancies for placement by the department in newspapers, journals or on-line sources
2. To request addition outreach assistance from the Office of Inclusion. Completed templates may be sent to our office, and will be forwarded to selected additional sources of candidate referral, based on position responsibilities and requirements.
