Committee Members

The GMEC’s 24 voting members include residents, program directors, GME faculty, and one clinical leader, typically a Chief Medical Officer or VP for Health Affairs, from each of UB’s main teaching Healthcare systems. The GMEC reports through the DIO/Sr. Associate Dean to the VP for Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine. It operates with five standing subcommittees; whose Chairs are GMEC voting members: University at Buffalo Residents Committee (UBRC), Resident Well-Being Subcommittee (RWS), Program Directors Advisory Committee (PDAC), and Program Quality Review Subcommittee (PQRS).
