  • Career Advising, Mentoring & Tutoring
    The Office of Student and Academic Affairs and the Office of Medical Curriculum mentor students in formats that are tailored to their individual needs and levels.
  • Counseling Services
    Counseling services are available both on and off campus. There are several avenues for counseling services; University at Buffalo Counseling Services and UBMD Psychiatry Services. You can also elect to seek out community providers for counseling services.
  • Applying to Residency
    Students with questions about different medical specialties and plans for their careers are encouraged to reach out to advisers designated by each department, academic staff in Office of Student and Academic Affairs (OSAA) and faculty in their respective program.
  • Online Resources
    A number of resources are available to medical students who are in the career-planning process.
