Students have many options when it comes to getting to and parking near the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Full-time medical students of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will have NFTA Bus and Rail access loaded onto your UB ID Card, that allows for free and unlimited use of all NFTA buses and rail. Free parking, with convenient access to NFTA bus and rail stations, is available at the LaSalle Station, Main St. at LaSalle Ave. or on the South Campus in the Main-Bailey Lot.

In addition, a number of paid parking options are also available.

How to Apply for Downtown Ramp Access

  1. Log in to the Parking and Transportation Services E-Business Center with your UBITName
  2. Click Get Permits
  3. Click Next
  4. You will see two (2) options:
    1. 854 Ellicott Street parking garage at $259.24
    2. MIGO Parking Ramp at $339.70
  5. At this time, you may choose one permit or pass you would like, agree to the rules and regulations by clicking all four boxes. Then click Next
  6. You will need to add a vehicle to your account, if there is not one shown. Click Add Vehicle and insert vehicle information. If your vehicle is already shown, click Next
  7. On this page you can add a permit to your current selection. Click Add Permits and it will take you back to select a second permit or pass. If you are not doing this proceed to the next step
  8. Select Payment Method (VISA, Mastercard or Discover). Then under email address click Click to Complete Transaction
  9. This will redirect you to UB E-Pay. Select payment method “eCheck or Credit Card” Click Continue
  10. On the next page put in credit card or e-Check information and address. Click Continue
  11. This will generate a receipt for you for your records
