Not all social media platforms are the same. Learn about the benefits you can gain from different platforms.

You might think of all social networks as equal, but they each have their own purposes. We recommend you post content specific to each individual channel.

For example, be aware that:

  • all news related posts can go on Facebook and Twitter, but only some should go on Instagram
  • faculty, student and staff accomplishments tend to perform better on Instagram and Facebook
  • LinkedIn is great for industry news, as well as student and faculty accomplishments
  • lighter content can be posted on every channel but may do better on Facebook and Instagram
