Social media is a popular tool for communicating with prospective and current students and trainees. We encourage you to use social media to promote your research, education and training programs, labs, programs, divisions and departments.
You need to be aware of the social media guidelines for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the University at Buffalo — as well as the university’s requirements for creating and managing social media accounts.
Establishing, managing and promoting your social media accounts can take a lot of time and effort. We’ve compiled these resources to help make it easier for you.
If you are running a social media account for a department, division, office, program or group in the school, please join our social media group.
Whether you want to share your news, interact with students or trainees or simply to just grow your online presence, this group can help.
We meet online on a regular basis to answer your questions, share ideas, discuss upcoming events and help you achieve your social media goals.
