Parking & Transportation

Students of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will receive a NFTA Bus and Rail access pass that allows for free and unlimited use of all NFTA buses and rail.

Parking is available at the LaSalle Station or on the South Campus in the Main-Bailey Lot.

The NFTA website lists additional Park and Ride locations and bus and rail schedules.

In addition to the free NFTA Bus and Rail pass, the following parking options are available at a discounted rate:

The parking garage at 854 Ellicott St. is conveniently located within the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

Parking at this lot is $259.24 per semester.

The Michigan-Goodrich (MIGO) Parking Ramp is located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

Parking at this ramp is $339.70 per semester.

1. Log in to the Parking and Transportation Services E-Business Center with your UBITName.
2. Click “Get Permits.”
3. Click “Next.”
4. You will see two (2) options:
   1. 854 Ellicott Street Surface Lot at $259.24
   2. MIGO Parking Ramp at $339.70
5. Choose the permit you would like, agree to the rules and regulations by clicking all four boxes. 
   
6. Click “Next.”
7. Add a vehicle to your account if necessary. Click “Add Vehicle” and enter your vehicle information. Click “Next” if your vehicle is already shown.
8. Confirm your address. Note: The pass will not be mailed to you. you will receive an email with instructions to obtain the pass.
9. Click “Next.”
10. You can add a permit to your current selection on this page. Click “Add Permits” to select a second permit or pass. Proceed to the next step if you don’t need an additional permit or pass.
11. Select Payment Method (VISA, Mastercard or Discover).
    
12. Click “Click to Complete Transaction.”
13. You will be directed to UB E-Pay. Select payment method “eCheck or Credit Card.”
    
14. Click “Continue.”
15. Enter your credit card/eCheck information and address.
    
16. Click “Continue.”
17. The last page will generate a receipt for your records.
