Build in-depth knowledge about the multifaceted methodologies of renal transplantation as you evaluate and manage transplant patients.
Our fellowship enables you to gain experience with transplantation in the Center of Excellence for Transplantation and Kidney Care at Erie County Medical Center, one of the most advanced renal-care facilities in the region.

As you rotate through our renal transplant service, you will learn about:

By participating in focused discussions on patient care meetings, you'll learn the screening process and become familiar with the work-up of potential transplant recipients and living donors.
You can expect to see 5-10 patients on inpatient service and 6-8 patients per transplant clinic.
Your experiences in this rotation will inform your comprehension of literature about renal transplantation and enable you to participate in the city-wide transplantation conference.
