Because this training site houses our hepatology elective, this is the site where you can strengthen your understanding of liver disease and develop your ability to recognize, diagnose and treat liver diseases routinely seen in an outpatient and follow-up setting.

If you undertake our addiction medicine elective, this training site is one of the locations where we’ll strengthen your foundational knowledge of addiction medicine. Further, we’ll expose you to the different levels of care for substance use disorders and train you on harm reduction approaches to treatment of addiction.

Additionally, ECMC is a site where you’ll have opportunities to undertake quality improvement projects and research. You can participate in projects covering a wide range of topics with the mentoring of our faculty experts.
