CITI Training

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) is dedicated to serving the training needs of colleges and universities, healthcare institutions, technology and research organizations, and governmental agencies, as they foster integrity and professional advancement of their learners.

If you have already completed CITI training, see the instructions below regarding adding UB to your CITI program Affiliations.

Registration

  • To register for a CITI Program Account, go to citiprogram.org
  • Affiliate with SUNY – Buffalo (University at Buffalo.)  There is NO FEE.

DO NOT register as an Independent Learner, this entails a fee.

Enrolling in CITI Courses

To enroll in the following courses:

  • Biomedical Research Investigator
  • CITI Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

When you register for courses, there will be 13 Questions.

Follow these steps EXACTLY.

  • Question 1 - SKIP
  • Question 2 – Choose, ‘For protocols submitted and reviewed by the HSIRB or the CYIRB – complete the Biomedical course.
  • Question 3 – Choose, ‘Good Clinical Practice Course (GCP)
  • Question 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 – SKIP
  • Question 11 – Choose, ‘Not at this time’
  • Question 12 – Choose, ‘Not at this time’
  • Question 13 – SKIP
  • Question 15-16 – SKIP
  • Then hit – COMPLETE UPDATE.
