Gynecology

As you learn to care for female patients, you’ll counsel them on matters related to growth and development, menstruation, contraception, pregnancy and preventive health.

This rotation teaches you how to conduct evidence-based women’s health screenings, including those for domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Over the course of this rotation you’ll better understand women’s medical and psychosocial needs and learn how to harness support for your patients’ health.

You’ll become proficient at interpreting:

You’ll receive broad exposure to gynecologic issues at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where you’ll be supervised by the program director of UB’s obstetrics-gynecology residency.
