All of us at the Jacobs School send our heartfelt thoughts and well wishes to those of you who have been affected by the blizzard.

To our faculty, residents, and all of the essential workers out there helping our community, we thank you for your selflessness and bravery. As health care workers, this is when you are needed at work the most.

Putting yourselves in harm’s way for the well-being of others, especially during the holiday weekend, is a gift to us all. Your work is truly commendable, and we are forever grateful.

We sincerely hope that you, your loved ones, and colleagues are safe and secure. When the blizzard clears, we can all come together again to celebrate the holidays and safe passage from the storm.

Warmest wishes,

Allison Brashear, MD, MBA
Vice President of Health Sciences
Dean, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
