As you read this message, many of you are preparing your turkey, watching the parade, getting ready to cheer on your team, and enjoying time with family.
This is a special time of year when we reflect on gratitude. I am incredibly grateful and excited. This is a great time to be part of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo!
We have UB True Blue pride in our students, our faculty, our staff, our alumni, and our donors. Together, our efforts have furthered our Jacobs School mission of providing excellence in education, impactful clinical service, authentic community partnerships and transformative research.
Thank you for bringing your unique talents and skills to the Jacobs School and to the Buffalo community. You are truly making a difference in the lives of patients and their futures!
Thank you for the excitement and enthusiasm we feel on campus for the direction in which the Jacobs School is moving. I’ve heard many great comments about our commitment to growing a culture of celebration, improving communications, and setting our strategic plan in motion.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Dean of Medicine and Vice President for Health Sciences and for the commitment that you all have demonstrated this year.
I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I hope you enjoy this time with family, friends and loved ones.
