Nephrology Lectures for Medical Grand Rounds

Our multidisciplinary grand rounds contextualize and supplement the training you’ll receive through rotations and electives.

We expect our fellows to stay up to date on important information about patient care and specific clinical problems by attending grand rounds.

This major clinical conference will give you an opportunity to hear lectures from invited faculty from other departments — such as surgery and the basic sciences — as well as renowned guest speakers.

Grand rounds will expose you to nephrology topics approximately every six weeks. These talks are generally focused on current or interesting cases, and they will deepen your understanding of pathophysiology and clinical practice in many areas of renal medicine.

During weeks not focused on nephrology, you’ll broaden your knowledge of important and evolving topics pertaining to areas outside of your core practice. These lectures will train you to think critically about a variety of distinct patient cases.
