End of Clerkship Policy

Students who are enrolled in a required course/clerkship with a shelf or local exam on the last day of the course/clerkship are to be released when clinical or other duties are completed, but no later than 5pm on the day before the exam. If this exam takes place in the afternoon, students will not need to report on the morning of the exam.

To promote consistency across the Phase 2 curriculum, make student expectations clear, and promote student wellness by allowing an adequate amount of break time and rest before a shelf exam.
