When the University at Buffalo announces that classes and activities are cancelled, all students in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be excused from classes and/or clinical responsibilities. Faculty should not expect students to report on those days. If UB is not closed, but there are travel bans in place that prohibit students from getting to school or clinical activities, students should also abide by travel bans and should notify the course/clerkship director and supervising faculty if they will not be present.
To ensure the safety of all students who may need to travel to and from classes or clinical responsibilities.
