Complex Case Conference

As a fellow in our program, you’ll focus on one challenging case in which treatment resistance or a negative outcome complicates the treatment course. These conferences generate in-depth discussions with peers and the faculty attending physicians.

We’ll also focus on cases that require:

• navigating multiple social and health systems
• promoting firm understanding of how these systems interact
• understanding the barriers to smooth operation and relevant legal issues
• finding ways to solve problems in these cases

To help you learn from mistakes, improve our system of care and prevent similar occurrences, the format follows a morbidity and mortality conference model.
