Practical Pediatric Psychopharmacology

In our one-year curriculum series, which repeats in your second year, you’ll learn about practical aspects of pediatric psychopharmacology.

We’ll equip you with the practical knowledge you need about psychopharmacology, such as:

  • establishing a positive doctor-patient alliance for medication management
  • assisting children in swallowing pills
  • understanding the differences between formulations of stimulants

We’ll review and discuss categories of medications through readings, practice parameters, board-style question review and case-based discussion.

During your second year as a fellow in our program, you can expect to take on increased responsibility in this series.
