University at Buffalo (UB)
This preclinical elective is completed over the fall or spring semester and functions to introduce students in their M1 or M2 year to the field orthopaedic surgery. Students will complete 12 hours of shadowing with their assigned preceptor. Preceptors will be attending physician faculty members in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Students will write a reflection to be submitted to the course director at the end of their experience.
