  • EMM 550 Introduction to Emergency Medicine, 1 credit

    This is an elective course for students who are interested in an emergency department experience that incorporates working with an EM attending at one of the consortium emergency departments.
  • EMM 800 Emergency Medicine, 4 credits

    Students taking the emergency medicine rotation in Buffalo will work in one of the affiliated emergency departments under the guidance of one of the emergency physicians.
  • EMM 802 Advanced Clerkship in Emergency Medicine, 4 credits

    During this rotation, students will obtain history, do physical examinations and present problems to attending/resident and, in consultation, carry out ancillary investigations such as laboratory tests and X-rays.
  • EMM 804 Introduction to Ultrasound, 4 credits

    This 4 week elective will introduce the basics of bedside ultrasound including ultrasound physics, proper utilization of equipment, and performance of common bedside ultrasound studies.
  • EMM 890 Course at Other University, 4 credits
    9/12/24
    Students interested in Emergency Medicine Research will have an opportunity to participate in the ongoing research of the department or may elect to do research in areas related to emergency medicine.
