Honors Pharmacology is offered to second-year, second-semester medical students and is to provide them with an enrichment of the pharmacology that they have learned in the preceding three semesters. It covers most of the major drug classes. The format is lecture by a medical practitioner about the management of clinical conditions with an emphasis on the science that provides the basis for each drug. In each session a series of cases will be presented. The cases will be used to spin off a discussion of the drugs used in the treatment.
