Pulmonology
You’ll develop and refine your pulmonology knowledge and skills by caring for patients with a range of respiratory disorders.
Upon completion of this elective, you’ll demonstrate an ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat:
- obstructive lung disease
- asthma
- pulmonary neoplasm
- pulmonary infection
- diffuse interstitial lung disease
- pulmonary vascular disease
- occupational and environmental lung disease
- ARDS
- pulmonary manifestations of systemic disease
- neuromuscular respiratory drive disorders
- disorders of the pleura and mediastinum
- sleep disorders
- hypoventilation syndromes
